The Miami Hurricanes are making significant strides in their recruiting efforts, particularly with four-star wide receiver Eli Woodard. This talented prospect from Chaparral High School in Temecula, California, has been spotted at the OT7 Finals wearing Miami gloves and signaling his support for the team. Woodard, ranked as the No. 156 overall prospect and No. 24 wide receiver in the Rivals300, previously committed to USC but has since reopened his recruitment, setting his sights on Miami. After an impressive official visit to Coral Gables, the Hurricanes have emerged as the frontrunners for his commitment. The On3/Rivals Recruiting Prediction Machine currently gives Miami a staggering 97.4% chance of landing Woodard, with USC trailing far behind at just 1%. During his junior season, Woodard showcased his skills with 51 receptions for 1,070 yards and 17 touchdowns, averaging an impressive 21.0 yards per catch.
